Day 1 ARRIVING DAY

Arrival to the Chisinau. Meet & greet at the airport. Transfer & check- in. Chisinau city tour by bus with a tour guide. Visit the main important streets, buildings. Dinner at the restaurant by the hotel. Free time.

Day 2 OLD ORHEI OPEN AIR MUSEUM

After breakfast visit the ancient city Old Orhei which organically combines the natural landscape & vestiges of ancient civilizations. After lunch in traditional Moldovan house, departure to the Cricova Winery, which is a national treasure & the most famous winery in Moldova. It is the second largest underground wine cellar in the country, after Milestii Mici. Cricova boasts nearly 120 km of underground tunnels that are large enough for vehicles to drive through. Wine tasting.

Departure Milestii Mici Winery. Milestii Mici is the largest underground wine cellar in Moldova. It has more than 200 km of limestone tunnels, 55 km of which are used for storing wine. The tunnels’ depth varies from 30 to 85m below ground. Taste wine and enjoy folk music. Return to the hotel.  Dinner in the hotel.

Day 3 ODESSA

Breakfast and departure to Ukraine on a private bus for a full day excursion to the Akkerman fortress, Belgorod-Dniester- the oldest city in Ukraine & one of the oldest cities in Europe.

After lunch. We will visit the Wine Center in Shabo to drink some good wine. Shabo is located on the same latitude as Provence, Bordeaux and the famous Swiss vineyards. Shabo itself was founded by the Swiss, so they safely brought here their culture of winemaking. You will have a great opportunity to evaluate the richness of a bouquet of Shabian wines & learn in detail the history of winemaking in Shabo. Departure to Odessa. Arrival.

Day 4 FULL DAY ODESSA

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out.

Odessa city-tour. You will walk along Deribasovskaya Street & Primorsky Boulevard, admire the beauty of the Opera Theater, the building of the Odessa National Philharmonic Society, the City Duma, the Potemkin Stairs, the Passage, the palace of Count MS Vorontsov, Odessa Transfiguration Cathedral, where wonderful icons are exhibited. You will learn why & how the “Single-walled house” appeared in the city. You will visit the open-air museum “A Corner of Old Odessa” & make a wish at the “Bride Bridge”. Cathedral, Catherine and Duma Squares will reveal their secrets for you. You will definitely need to visit the smallest area of the city - Ostap Bender Square, take a seat the 12th chair, in which the treasures of Madame Petukhov were hidden. Also, you can see a monument to the famous Soviet singer Utyosov. (Locals believe that hugging this monument or rub- bing the nose will bring you good luck).

After Ukrainian lunch & departure to “Odessa Catacombs”. The catacombs are former underground quarries from which a stone sink was extracted - the main building material of ancient Odessa.

Dinner. Transfer to the railway station. Departure to Lvov by train.

Day 5 LVIV CITY TOUR

Arrival in Lviv. Meet and greet at the train station. Breakfast in the city cafe.

Lviv City tour. Panoramic walking tour of the center of Lviv runs through the streets of the medieval city, the famous Market Square, avenues filled with history. You will see all the most popular & famous monuments of architecture. Lunch at a local restaurant. Moving to Slavske(Carpathians). Excursion to the mountain Zakhar Berkut. You will see picturesque landscapes & plunge into the atmosphere of the Carpathian nature. Return to Lviv. Dinner at the restaurant.

Excursion: “Night Watchman of Lviv” (optional). The excursion starts at 10:00 pm: when the sun hides behind the horizon, in order to protect our world, the Black Burgermaster comes out on the streets of Lviv. & we will have the opportunity to help him in this difficult matter & learn all the secrets of the night city. Unexpected encounters, scary legends, ghosts, secret rites, mysterious streets & dark alleys - all this awaits us during a night walk through Lviv. For the good work, Pan Burgomaster will treat us to delicious tea & dedicate the most active participants to the “Honorary Guard of the city”. Check in. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 DEPARTURE TO KIEV

Breakfast in the hotel (do not drink coffee). Check out.

Excursion “Lvov with a taste of coffee” with coffee tasting. Coffee in Lvov is nothing but a mineral that is mined in the same way as coal or peat. We invite everyone to the amazing coffee dungeons, where you will hear everything about this aromatic drink & of course, try a cup of magic drink, made in accordance to a unique recipe. The bitter-sweet taste of the underground world of coffee will captivate us. Lunch at the caféon. Dinner at the restaurant.

Transfer to the train station.

Day 7 KIEV FULL DAY

Breakfast in the hotel. Kiev city-tour. We will start from Taras Shevchenko Boulevard, Bessarabskaya Square, Khreshchatyk street, Independence Square, Valery Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium, Verkhovna Rada (Supreme Council) of Ukraine, Mariinsky Park & Palace, Square of Glory, Kievo- PecherskaLavra, Mikhailovskaya Square & St.Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, St. Sophia of Kiev, Golden Gate & other attractions of Kiev. Andrew’s Descent (also known as “Kiev’s Montmartre”) & one of “must see” places in Kiev - The Saint Andrew’s Church. In the buildings, along the streets of “Kiev’s Montmartre”, there are art galleries, exhibitions, theaters & art workshops. Numerous open-air Ukrainian souvenir shops can also be found there. Lunch.

 After lunch, excursion to the park Mamaeva Sloboda. The main goal of Sloboda is to recreate Ukrainian rites and traditions. This Open-Air Museum replicates a traditional Cossack settlement of the 17th and 18th centuries in the heart of Kiev. Mamaieva Sloboda now is known as the best and the most interactive skansen in Ukraine.

Also, you may just dedicate that night to discovering Kiev night clubs & discos!

Day 8 DEPARTURE TO MINSK

Visit the most famous symbols of Kiev and Ukraine- the monument “Motherland” - the Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II & the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Churches & relics for believers, ancient monuments for history lovers, a magnificent combination of architecture, nature & landscape for beauty lovers - everyone will find here something to their taste. Dinner.

Transfer from airport. Departure to Minsk.

Arrival in Minsk. Dinner. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 MINSK CITY

Breakfast. Minsk Sightseeing Tour. During the excursion you will learn about the past & the present of the city. The Principality of Polotsk, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the Polish - Lithuanian Common wealth, the Russian Empire, the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic & the Republic of Belarus – that is the way that Minsk has passed during its life. You will see the most valuable architectural monuments of the city: Cathedral Orthodox & Catholic Churches of the ХVII-XVIII centuries; St. Peter & St. Paul’s Church of the beginning of ХVII century & the “Red” Church; the oldest street Nemiga which started its way from the Minsk castle, & the picturesque Upper Town. The historic center of Minsk – the Upper Town – attracts the visitors by its unique atmosphere of the past which is felt in its old buildings & on its narrow streets where museums, cafes & restaurants, boutiques & sculptures are located. Magnificent architectural ensembles of the main squares & avenues of the city, monumental constructivist public buildings, parks & public gardens will burst upon your eyes. Walking down the Trinity Suburb you will see different muse- ums, cafes, taverns & gift shops. Belarus lunch in Dudutki. Excursion to the Museum of folk crafts in Dudutki is a really wonderful trip: serious excursion combined with playful adventures – tasting of “samogon” (home-made alcoholic drink), horse-riding, having eats & drinks at the mill. The open-air museum “Dudutki” is one of the most visited museums in Belarus. You will see the only working mill in Belarus, visit pottery, forge of the 19th century, carpenter’s work- shop, bakery and the exhibition of vintage cars. Moreover, there is a horse stable, open-air cage for ostriches, wild boars & other animals & birds. You will enjoy riding in the hackney-cabs, visit the meadow of picnics & feel the atmosphere of old estate.

There will be 3 tastings during the excursion:

- near the hooch still (“samogon”, bread, pickles, honey) - in the bakery (fresh bread, cheese, butter, herbal tea) - at the mill (farm bread & cured pork fat)

Day 10 EXCURSION TO MIR & NESVIZH

Breakfast. Excursion to Mir & Nesvizh.

The majestic Mir Castle, built in the 16th century, its bright architectural look, mighty walls & towers, colorful courtyard leave a lasting impression which will be complemented by the Museum exposition inside the castle. Alongside the castle there is the flam boy ant chapel of the Svyatopolk - Mirskyfamily. The historic part of the town of MIR - the place where Belarusians, Poles, Jews, Gipsies & Tartars had been living together for a long time – kept the atmosphere of the former small town. The ensemble of the market place is formed by the Orthodox & Catholic Churches, synagogues, Yeshiva, the houses of craftsmen & merchants. Belarusian or European lunch.

Drive to Nesvizh – the former capital of the Radziwill’s Ordination. At the Market place of this picturesque town you will see the Town Hall, shopping arcades, artisan houses; the Slutsk Gate (17th cent.) is located nearby. The magnificent castle surrounded by high earthworks & wide ponds represents the system of buildings forming the tasteful court of honor. The elements of Renaissance, Baroque & Classicism are interlaced herein. The Farny Church of the XVI century – the first Baroque building in the Eastern Europe. This church is one of the most valuable churches in Belarus due to its gorgeous fresco painting & the undercroft. Transfer to Brest. Accommodation at the hotel. European dinner.

Day 11 BREST CITY

Brest is the old city in Belarus at the border with Poland. The city has long & rich history. It was Brest to be given the Magdeburg Law the first of all the Belarusian towns, there the Union of Brest was contracted in 1596, according to which the Roman-Catholic Church & Eastern Orthodox Church were united. A lot of outstanding people lived there. You will see the cultural heritage of this city, its old & modern monuments & temples, walk down its main street. You will visit The Brest Fortress (built in 1942). The Memorial Complex “Brest Hero-Fortress” includes forts, bastions, barracks & sculptural compositions. You will visit the Museum of the Fortress located in the Citadel – the old barrack in the centre of the fortress. Belarusian or European lunch. Excursion to Bialowieza Forest listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Now it is a National reservation, where rich plant life & amazing landscape are combined. Here grows the highest fir-tree in Europe, here live powerful aurochs & a great number of animal species. Return to Brest. Overnight in Brest. Moving to Minsk with the song “Belovezhskaya Pushcha”.
