We will explore the unique Gagauz culture. Who are these mysterious Gagauzians?

The Gagauz are descended from Turkic peoples originating in Central Asia and mainly follow Orthodox Christianity.

Our trip will begin in the morning at 9:00 AM. Our first stop will be at the Manuc Bey Manor, where we will walk through the estate and learn many interesting things. Then, we will depart for the city of Comrat, the capital and most important city of the Gagauzia Autonomy. Comrat was founded in 1789.

Next, we will visit the unique Comrat Winery, located in the city of the same name. There, you will enjoy a tour of the winery and taste six southern wines of Moldova during lunch.

Afterward, we will head to the city of Besalma. You will visit the Gagauz Museum in Besalma, the world's first museum dedicated to Gagauz culture and life, named after Dmitry Kara-Ciobanu. The museum houses more than 15,000 exhibits. Optionally, you can participate in a photo shoot in national costumes.

You will have some free time before our departure to Chisinau.
