The name Vartely originates from the name of the town Orhei that in Hungarian means “place of the fortress”, (vár + hely or fortress + place).

The brand Château Vartely was developed and launched in 2004. Its slogan says “Wine with love to you”, because every noble wine produced at Château Vartely has a part of the heart and dedication of those working here.

Chateau Vartely is located in the center of Moldova near the town of Orhei only 45 minutes from Chisinau. It is one of Moldova's newest and most modern wineries. The winery has 4 SGL/DBL rooms, 4 TWIN rooms, 4 VIP Apartments. Each room and apartment is air-conditioned, featuring dark wood floors, with flat-screen TV, DVD player.

The winery's onsite restaurant serves national and French cuisine. Guests can also enjoy a sauna and hot tub, and play billiards, table tennis, or darts. Guided winery tours and wine tasting are available. Wine and gift shop onsite. Free Wi-Fi. Free parking.
